once you go black, you never go back

RTW F/W 2013
My favorite looks thus far

JASON WU
From the silhouettes to the fabrics, Wu's outerwear is definitely something I simply love this season. The mirrored runway was a nice touch as well.

RAG& BONE
Houndstooth print, large leather coats, and nylon stockings. Will someone please pass over that oversized turtleneck and those velvet shoes? Hands down, my second favorite collection so far.

BCBG MAX AZRIA
BCBG is always one of my favorites at NYFW. For some reason, the clothing found in stores doesn't do the actual collections justice for me, and I'm never really coveting Azria's pieces when in department stores. I think, much like music, BCBG looks and feels so much better live on stage, and so it's always been one of my dreams to attend a BCBG show. Anyway, onto the collection, with inspiration from Instabul and Phil Frost, this collection delineates two of my favorites: urban with a little baroque. Needless to say, it'll be some time before I take off my beanie and pointed stilettos.

TADASHI SHOJI & YIGAL AZROUEL
And... last but not least, if I could redo prom, these dresses would definitely be in mind. Actually several of the gowns from Shoji were swoon-worthy but something about the understated sexiness of the mesh and silver lace just instantly drew me in. If we're going along with clichés, it was simply love at first sight.

What are your favorites so far?
Hope everyone is staying safe during Storm Nemo!
xx,
Amy
